Banff School of the Arts

I am very excited to be offered a residency at the Banff School of the Arts. I will be there with my friend and collaborator Timothy Francis. We will be exploring the relationship of collaboration in performance, composition and creativity. Together we will document the process with sound video and written diary notes and present our work as a performance/lecture in the new year and hope to offer this work in the future. Some of our goals include co – composing songs, rearrangements of repertoire we both have, re working the 4 songs of Dylan Thomas that Tim composed for me to sing first in 2011. We will also be presenting concerts during our residency based the themes we will explore – including improvisation, new works and re -arrangements of previously scored works.  Nov.20 – Dec 6th.
